2 Arnold, Eve Film Journal
New York Bloomsbury 2001 First Edition Hard Cover in Dust Jacket Near-Fine Fine Book
256-pages, including an index of the film people whose photographs are included. Perhaps the best portrait is the one Cartier-Bresson tok of Arnold in 1998. She had a wonderful eye, and there's a delicious irony in photographs of film people used to being on camera. The bonus is Arnold's notes on the films, sets, and people she encountered. Near-Fine hardcover binding with lower corner of the first free endpaper clipped; in Fine dust jacket.

Boston MA American Photographic Publishing 1931 First Edition Hardcover Near-Fine Very Good Book
Twelve wonderfully art deco graphic illustrations and 1 color frontispiece by Constance Hacker. Near-fine hardcover binding (with dazzling textured silver endpapers) just slightly cocked; in Very Good dust jacket with crisp edges; unfortunately, someone may have set a wet cup or glass square in the center of the front panel (no corresponding damage to the board underneath).

16 Horn, Rebecca Rebecca Horn, Buster's Bedroom: A Filmbook
Zurich Parkett 1991 First Edition Stated Hardcover Fine Fine Book
Sven Nykvist directed the film, and Rebecca Horn and Martin Mosebach wrote the script based on a story by Horn, and the list of credits at the end (I always stay for the credits, do you?) is pages long. Filmbooks are weird to begin with, being comprised of stills from a medium that moves, and this one, based as it is on what looks like a pretty weird movie, is especially so. Nonetheless, the stills read as photographs are generally satisfying. This copy withdrawn from a museum library, with stamps to copyright page, spine label, and card pocket glued inside rear cover. Otherwise, Fine hardcover binding in Fine dust jacket.

The "book" form of a play, which was also recorded on video, for which the artist was awarded the Kathe Kollwitz Preis in 2000). The performance took place over seven days, each act the length of the normal working day of the Liverpool Central Library's international reading room, and used one to six actors in the part of readers.
