Andringa, Mel and F. John Herbert Camillo Iowa City, IA The Drawing Legion 1982 First Edition Stiff Wraps in Paper Jacket Fine Near-Fine Book 24-page "record" of this piece of performance devised by Andringa and Herbert and loosely based on Camillo's memory theatre. The pages are primarily visual--drawings by Durer, Palladio, Rejlander, a photograph of the two authors--plus meaningful quotes. One illustration has the "cherry" sticker applied. In Fine condition in stiff wraps with a printed overwrapper--this has a slight crease to the lower front corner. Unusual to find documentation of Andringa's performances, especially in this condition.

Monk, Meredith Juice: A Theatre Cantata in Three Installments New York The House 1969 First Edition Printer Wrapper Near-Fine Issued Without Jacket Book The installments were performed at the Guggenheim (November 7 at 7 and 9:30 PM), the Minor Latham Playhouse (November 29, 30, and December 1 at 7 and 10 PM), and The House (December 7, continuous from 5:30 PM to midnight). This remarkable survival of the early work of a master of performance arts consists of 8 mimeographed pages stapled between two cover sheets: red covers, with a graphic/pictorial title on the front, and blank on the rear. Inside, a page of credits for the production, the contributors, and the sponsors; pages 2 through 7 describe what was supposed to happen in each installment in words and diagrams; and a final page dedicating the production to Janet Zalamea, who "began the violin score" and died, apparently, before the production was realized. Not only is this material in near-Fine condition, with very little wear at all, it is perhaps unique because page 2 is duplicated (the "extra" page does not quite line up, so has received more wear to the edges than the other pages). In all, a historical, wonderful piece of documentation.
