70-page exhibition catalogue and monograph on a little known American symbolist born in the South but not identified as a "Southern" painter. Essays by Estill Curtis Pennington and J. Richard Gruber, plus a checklist of the Daingerfield collection and a good index of the illustrations in the book. Beautiful illustrations, many of them from the artist's notebook, always valuable for understanding process. Fine hardcover binding in Fine dust jacket.

20-page catalogue for an exhibition held at the Findlay Gallery October 7-28, ca 2005. Findlay is one of the few galleries on the East Coast mounting consistent exhibitions of the Indian Space painters, of whom Daum is one of the least known and best regarded. Excellent essay by Gail Stavitsky, and 10 color plates that at least give the flavor of the concept. Fine in wraps as issued.

75-page catalogue, one of one thousand published, with text in Spanish and English, illustrated with 27 full-page plates, three in color, of his portraits and figurative works, all of which have a slight surrealistic quality and fit comfortably in their time (the 30s-40s). Canepa is an important link in Latin American art history, and it unusual to find a catalogue of this quality. Very Good in folded stiff wraps with faint creasing to front and rear covers. The artist's business card is taped inside the front cover, with his New York address and telephone number handwritten on the card.

Gorgeous, and a must-have. In near-Fine wraps as issued in the Whitney edition, with light wear to spine ends and corners.

A portfolio of 14 reproductions in brilliant color of this unusual artist's paintings, tipped in to textured stiff paper. Introductory essay by Duncan P. Osborne. Some of the pages are loose, not affecting the plates at all. Unfortunately, the tipped-in plate from the front cover of the folder has been removed. Still, a lovely collection of her work. The portfolio is chipped and split to the spine head and the spine folds, and lightly soiled.
