72-page "report" from the Alternative Spaces Residency Program (administered by the Dayton City Beautiful Council and the Art Department at Wright State University) for 1978-9. That year, the artists in residence were Jackie Ferrara, Richard Fleischner, Doug Hollis, Mary Miss, and Michael Singer. For each artist, full photographic documentation of the work, in progress and finished. Fleischner took photographs, Hollis used string in site-specific installations that captured their sounds, and Miss made "gates" in what look like pretty inacessible places. All of the work very 70s, but nonetheless interesting. This copy near-Fine with light edge-wear.

Quite ambitious. The Part I catalogue has 26 black and white illustrations, the Part II catalogue has 22. 120-page catalogue for an exhibition held in the grounds of the Villa Manin, the palace of the last Venetian doge. The setting is beautiful and classical, and the art is literally all over the place: some artists made sculpture out of bubbles, others made whole structures, still others used found objects and the land as it was. The artists included several collectives (A12 of Genoa, Cliostraat of Turin, Inside Outside/Petra Blaisse), and individuals, including Alberto Garutti, Gabriel Orozco, Paola Pivi, Tobias Rehberger, Tomas Saraceno, Andreas Slominski, Monika Sosnowska, Rirkrit Tiravanija, and Patrick Tuttofuoco.
