One of an edition of 1000. The brutality of daylight illuminates suburban life in Colorado at a particular time and place in 40 black and white photographs. While there are a few night shots, it is the daylight that oppresses. Fine in black boards with title printed in white and grey spine covering; in Fine black dust jacket with black title embossed.

One of an edition of 1000. Eden, Colorado, basically a remote four-way intersection, is not any kind of paradise, as Adams has clearly documented in these 17 black and white photographs of the road, a truck stop, trucks, and whatever else was there when he was, in late 60s. Fine in black boards with title type in color. Lacking the publisher's acetate protective jacket.

Compiled by Adams when he won the Spectrum prize for Photography, and published to coincide with an exhibition at the Sprengel Museum, Hannover, September 24-November 19, 1995). Black and white photographs taken in and around Denver in the early 70s, when the development there was just beginning, showing homes (with even a few interiors), commercial buildings, highways, the what's left of nature in this context. Chilling. This is the original first edition in hardcover, with text in German and English, printed and bound in German, and collectible for that reason. Fine hardcover binding in Fine dust jacket lightly rubbed.
