.assembled for him by Caroline Tisdall (to complete the title). 46 pages, plus 8 pages reproducing notes of interviews/conversations with Beuys, and many black and white images (photographed by Tisdall) of the things Beuys gave her over the years. As one of his "collectors", then, she had a ready-made exhibition, even though she was able to organize the collection into Objects, Drawings, and Multiples. In Fine condition in stiff wraps as issued with very light wear.

Errata slip enclosed. In addition to the many color plates and black and white photographs, each of which is annotated, there is a highly detailed chronology and selected exhibition history, plus more notes, a comprehensive bibliography, and an index to the plates by artist. Catalogue for an exhibition held February 1-March 31, 2007, with an essay by Mark Rosenthal, and numerous color plates, including a gatefold, of the work, which is elaborately annotated. The sketches are particularly interesting as hints to the artist's more complex conceptual pieces. Fine hardcover binding without dust jacket as issued.
