New York Artists Space 1989 First Edition Wraps As Issued Fine Issued Without Jacket Book 
32-page catalogue for an exhibition held May 25-July 1, 1989, sub- or super-titled Metaphysical Visions: Middle Europe. The exhibition featured much more than video and artists from all over central Europe: there are installations, sculpture, even paintings on canvas. Artists include Mrdjan dHajic, Miroslaw Balka, Jiri David, El Kazovszkij, Zeljko Kipke, Jiri Kovanda, Mariusz Kruk, Piotr Kurka, and various others. The work is shown in black and white plates and explained in artists' statements translated into English. As a separate section, there is a history of Yugoslavian video and an essay by Biljama Tomic. Central European map on covers. Fine in wraps as issued.
