1 Jean Luc Daval, essay James Ensor (Taurus No. 9)
New York Albert Loeb & Krugier Gallery 1969 1st Edition Paper in Folder Near Fine Issued Without Jacket Book
Another of the Krugier Gallery folders, this one with an engraving of his "Entry of Christ into Brussels" on texured paper enclosed in similar paper on which the essay is printed; a separate 16-page portfolio of various works (Scenes from the Life of Christ, Landscapes and Marines, Genre Scenes, Scenes from History, and Deadly Sins), a six-panel foldout of "La Gamme D'Amour"; another four-panel foldout with three engravings; and a ten-page folder listing the complete graphic works, including those reproduced in this portfolio and the rest in the exhibition. All reproduced from plates engraved by Ensor. Fabulous. The enclosures are in Fine condition with perhaps a bit of bumping to some corners; the outer portfolio is toned to theinside, and has light wear to edges and corners and soiling to the white ground.
