14-page list of the books given to the Watson Library by the Banks of Italy. Alas, no illustrations. The Watson showed 50 of about 500 books published by Italian banks and given to the Met over the years. Interesting that banks are such a major force in publishing and that this is pretty much an Italian tradition, started by a Medici, of course. Some volumes focus on a bank's own art collection, others on various architectural and historical features of their locations. This list, an important research tool, in Fine condition in wraps as issued.
