Dorr, Nell The Bare Feet New York New York Graphic Society 1962 First American Edition Hard Cover Near-Fine Very Good to Near-Fine Calligraphy by David Soshensky. Nell Dorr's incomparable record of the people of Teotitlan del Valle village, in the Oaxaca Valley of Mexico. Full-page black & white photographs as only Dorr can make them. A treasure. Near-Fine hardcover binding slightly scuffed to bottom edge with wear to corners, offsetting from a sticker in lower left corner of front board, stamp ("Property of Friendship Library") to title page but no other evidence of library ownership or circulation; in dust jacket with minor edgewear, closed tear (taped) to spine head, another (untaped, thank goodness) to lower rear edge. Copy of letter signed by Dorr on her memo paper pasted inside front cover ("The hope of bringing into focus the touchingly human side of our Mexican neighbors was my reason for making this book. It now brings me an added satisfaction that, for the same reason, The Dorr Foundation is making it available to the libraries of America. Nell Dorr"). Price:
