The issues in Volume 4 (November 1970-October 1971) tend to be themed: #1: Dance and Film, #2: Computer-Made Films, #s 3 and 4: Anthropology and Film (Navajo filmmakers; feature by Alan Lomax); #5: Film Space (Stan Vanderbeek, among others); #6: Film Sound (Amarasingham's synthesizer);#7: Deep-Focus Cinematography (history in the US); #8: Film Festivals (beware!); #9-10: The Shape and Angles of Film Distribution (Stan Brakhage); #11: The Filming of "Maidstone" (Mailer's election "documentary"); #12: Inside the Mind of a Communications Philosopher: An Interview with Ugo Torricelli. All issues have previous owner's mailing label on reverse; most are in Fine condition, while a few show shelf rubbing or shelf-wear. In all, they've been preserved very well.
