48-page catalogue for an exhibition held April 14-May 22, 1977. Color plates include four prints by Joseph Albers (1974-6), and work by Richard Hamilton, Robert Motherwell, Ron Davis, Claes Oldenburg, Roy Lichtenstein, Mark di Suvero, Ellsworth Kelly, Frank Stella, Stanley Boxer, William Crutchfield, Nancy Graves, Michael Heizer, and Helen Frankenthaler, accompanied by black and white photographs of the artists at work on the process in the Tyler studio. Fascinating documentation, and a solid essay by Goldman, plus a glossary. Laid in are two pieces of ephemera: a mimeographed catalogue of the exhibition as it appeared at the Museum of Art in Fort Lauderdale (Florida) in October of 1978, full of neat handwritten apparent student notes, and an invitation card to that exhibition, also written on front and back, avoiding most of the type (small stain to front of card). The catalogue has the previous owner's name written on the title page, some staining to the front cover, and creased lower corner affecting the first 10 pages slightly.
