Edited by M. Jourdain and Alice Dryden, this was the first major revision and enlargement of what was a classic in 1911. 536 pages, covers all of Europe (and Russia) in great detail, with very good index. Illustrated with 266 plates. As a kind of bonus, a four-page catalogue from the firm of Sara Hadley: Laces Antique and Modern (of 9 E. 35th Street, New York), probably dating from the 20s or 30s illustrated with 8 black and white plates. In Very Good to near-Fine condition, with faint soiling to light covers, light wear to edges and ends, and still-bright gilt to page edges all around.
