Catalogue for an exhibition held January 12-February 18, 1973. Women in the Arts [WIA] earned its place by a demonstration in front of MOMA, and an open letter to New York museums to rethink their ignorance of women artists. This show, the result, included only 109 of nearly 500 WIA members, but set a precedent. It included artists as diverse as Buffie Johnson, Betty Parsons, and Mary Frank, from both coasts and lots of places in between, with and without gallery representation. 128 pages, with all of the participating artists represented by a black and white plate. In Very Good condition with moderate wear to corners and edges.

Price = 45.00 USD
