Although Nancy Spector is credited as curator for this exhibition held July 15-Ocotber 9, 2005, and has contributed a valuable essay, Gordon in fact assembled the material for this installation from the Guggenheim's holdings, private collections, his own work, and those of other artists whom he presumably admires, including a wide array of media. The packaging is part of the work: a neat little box that holds postcards of all the objects in the exhibition (with Gordon's rationale for including them) with a mirror built into the cover. This copy is Fine in shrink-wrap as issued.
