80-page monograph in the form of an extensive interview, illustrated with many plates, more than 30 in color. The images are dominated by, but not limited to, Simmons's work in the 90s with ventriloquists' dummies which while cheery are definitely eerie. Other images are of miniature people in dollhouse-like settings or against jarring backdrops. If you're familiar with this refrain in her work, you'll know what I mean. Near-Fine in stiff folded double wraps with light bump to lower corners.
