Author Name None Title Works For New Spaces Binding Wraps As Issued Book Condition Very Good Jacket Condition Issued Without Jacket Edition First Edition Publisher Minneapolis MN Walker Art Center 1971 Seller ID 2109 Catalogue for an exhibition mounted May 18-July 25, 1971, in what was then the Walker's new space, inviting artists to "inhabit" the Center's new galleries, rooftop terraces, concourse, and nearby parkland. The results are very 70s: Robert Morris piled sandbags on the roof, Dan Flavin lit a whole corridor, Robert Irwin stretched scrim along an entire wall, and Rauschenberg, naturally, created his work entirely on site. Fascinating to see the different responses to the Walker's invitation. Illustrated with black and white photographs. Very Good, with some scraping to front cover.
