"Norami" refers to a kind of great Spirit, and is the name given in Yanomami, an obscure language spoken in Brazil. The photographs, in piercing color, were taken in Brazil (with the exception of some Hawaiian settings), nearly all feature human subjects and some inanimate objects in stunning settings. Kind of Helmut Newton on a tropical vacation. Usually the humans are women, dressed or undressed deliberately, but the shots are too arty for SI. Text in English, German, and Portuguese. No flaws to the binding; silver dust jacket has rubbing, closed tear and light chipping to the spine head.
