With a text by Ewing, and a "remembrance" by Harold A. Williams, this 104-page monograph truly does justice to the work of this painterly photographer, whose images, while they celebrate Baltimore and the Chesapeake, also transcend place. Of course, there's a great portrait of Mencken. Near-Fine hardcover binding withdrawn from a library (label inside front cover, stamp and pencil notation to copyright with faint bleeding to contents page, in near-Fine dust jacket with light wear in taped Mylar cover.
