The photographer's first book-as a photographer. Sexton also has a great facility for printmaking, which makes these images doubly interesting. Long associated with Ansel Adams, Sexton reverently upholds that tradition of Western landscape photography (although a few Maine birches have crept in). The images, about which we get a great deal of information including exposure time, are just beautiful. This copy from the personal library of photographer Arley Bondarin with his bookplate inside front cover. Fine hardcover binding in Fine dust jacket.
