32 pages. Han is a term used in South Korea, where these portraits were made, to mean "solemn" or "tragic" or, as Waternaux herself has put it, un sentiment gravité. Certainly these faces are serious, and mysterious, since they are unaccompanied by captions; further, the introduction even likens them to Renaissance portraits. Text in French and Korean. Part of a series Waternaux was working on in southeast Asia. Fine in folded wraps as issued.
