A very heavy, 298-page exhibition catalogue for a group of installations Murakami created for the Japan Society galleries and other New York City venues. The credits for this ambitious project read like a list of Major Players: Microsoft and Yoko Ono among them. Text in Japanese and English. Murakami's favorite theme, superflat, reappears here, of course, but there are amazing examples of subcultural animation, sculpture, installation, and about every other "art" form. Fine in laminated wraps with bump to lower corner.
