158-page catalogue for an exhibition held at Museu de Arte Contemporaneo in Porto, Portugal, and at Museum moderner Kunst in Vienna, with text in English, German, and Portuguese and illustrated with 46 color plates and more in black and white. By using found materials to create architectural features, or parts of features, and placing them in or on existing structures or in the exhibition space, Reis is constructing "sightless cities", according to Lorand Hegyi, who contributes an essay. Certainly these are challenging constructions for the viewer---how did he do that wars with why did he do that in the mind. Complete catalogue, bibliography, and chronology included. This copy withdrawn from a museum library, with stamps to title and half-title pages, taped spine label, and card pocket glued inside rear cover. Otherwise, near-Fine in folded stiff wraps, with two tiny gouges (not removing any material) to front cover.
